Inpatient Services
Our department has an elaborate in patient services including
- 22 general ward beds
- 6 respiratory high dependency unit
- 10 respiratory isolation beds for drug sensitive and drug resistant tuberculosis
- Semi private and private ward beds
- We provide high end care with our dedicated team of doctors, nurses and respiratory therapists
- HDU – holds facilities like advanced mechanical ventilators, non invasive ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, arterial blood pressure monitoring bedside lung ultrasound, arterial blood gas analysis
Common conditions managed as inpatients
- Asthma and chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) exacerbations
- Community acquired pneumonia
- Pleural effusion due to any etiology
- Bronchiectasis with infective exacerbations
- Lung abscess
- Empyema
- Lung cancer
- Interstitial lung diseases
- OSA with chronic Type 2 respiratory failure for CPAP/BPAP titration
